About O'Fallon
O'Fallon is a city in St. Clair County, Illinois, located about 16 miles east of St. Louis, Missouri. Founded in 1854 and named after Colonel John O'Fallon, the city grew around a Baltimore and Ohio Railroad depot that attracted German settlers. Incorporated as a village in 1874, O'Fallon expanded significantly after Interstate 64 was built. It covers roughly 14.5 square miles in the Metro East region.
