The venue is named after the owner Jake Simic’s family members Laurie, Gabi, and Nella. La Gala offers a variety of event options including corporate events, birthday parties, nonprofit events, quinceañeras, proms, class reunions, concerts, and baby showers. Jake Simic previously opened Brickyard Cafe in 1998 before launching La Gala.
