About Louisville
Louisville, Kentucky, is located in Jefferson County along the Ohio River at the Indiana state line. It is known for hosting the first Kentucky Derby in 1875 at Churchill Downs, its connection to Muhammad Ali, and the Louisville Slugger baseball bats. The city is served by Louisville Muhammad Ali International Airport, which also functions as UPS’s worldwide air hub.
